Is it a clip? Is it a magazine? Nerf seems to have it wrong everytime! This page is more dedicated for all kinds of magazines Nerf has released over the years, but for if you want to know the difference between a magazine and a clip, here's a video about this topic from Coop772. I do not own the YouTube channel Coop772 nor do I have any connection with the owner of that channel.

Nerf does call 'Magazines' 'Clips' on their website and packaging, so you might get more search results with the word 'Clip'. Nerf magazines are magazines though, not clips. (Watch the video).

(Almost) All Nerf Magazines

Let's start with the standard N-Strike Elite style magazines.

Now, let's look at the Drum-style magazine.

These magazines are shaped like a cilinder. These magazines can store more darts than stick-magazines, without being as long as a stick-mag. Drums are wider than normal stick-mags. Nerf Drums mostly stick out to the left side of the blaster, but there is a symmetrical drum available.
